Obituary

Nina Unruh, 86, Halstead, died Thursday, January 27, 2000 at Halstead Hospital. She was born September 15, 1913 at Halstead, the daughter of Cornelius and Adena Becker Unruh. A lifelong resident of Halstead, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead. On Janury 1, 1935, she married Elmer C. Unruh at Cimarron. He died December 31, 1988.

Survivors: son, Tony Unruh, Halstead; daughter, Elaine Davis, Arlington, Washington; sisters, Lydia Unruh, Montezuma; Elizabeth Schmidt, AtWater, California; Pearl Kater, Wichita; and Clara Penner, Newton; 2 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Abe Unruh; Dave C. Unruh; J. C. Unruh; Marcus Unruh; Cornelius Unruh and Raymond Unruh; four sisters; Susan Smith, Malinda Koehn; Inez Friesen and Sarah Croy;

Services will be February 1 at the Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead. Burial in Halstead Cemetery.
