Obituary

William C. Grindstaff, 51, Sedgwick, died Monday, March 5, 2001 at Newton Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1949 in Sedgwick, son of Raymond Lyle and Lucille Avis Stewart Grindstaff. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was a member of Sedgwick United Methodist Church and of the pioneers retirement organization at Southwestern Bell.

On November 19. 1986 he married Debra Bridgeman at Sedgwick. She survives of the home.

Other survivors: three sons, Aaron Grindstaff, Sedgwick; Gary Grindstaff, Newton; Gene Grindstaff, Canyon City, Colorado and a stepdaughter, Christina Magby, Sedgwick and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary D. Grindstaff and Ray lee Grandstaff and a grandson, Gene Alex Grindstaff.

Services were March 8 at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas.
