Obituary

Wiliam Edward Krauss, 72, Hesston, formerly of Bentley, died Friday, January 26, 2001 at Sedgwick Healthcare Center. He was born October 20, 1928 at Sedgwick, son of Jacob G. and Esther F. Schwarz Krauss. He was a farmer in the Bentley and Gypsum area before moving to Heston in 1996.

He was a member of Temple Church, Gypsum.

Survivors: two brothers, Karl Krauss, Halstead and Kenneth Krauss, Sedgwick; five sisters, Maxine Shirk and Virginia Miller, both of Sedgwick; Faye Rennolet, Wichita; Carolyn Krauss, Dewey, Oklahoma and Doris Kolb, Springfield, Misssouri.

Services were held Monday, January 29, 2001 at Halstead Baptist Church. burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
