Obituary

Dorothea E. Longley, 83, Moundridge, formerly of Halstead, died Friday, April 20, 2001 at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge. She was born September 4, 1917 at Halstead, the daughter of Simon B. and Elizabeth Koehn. In 1949 she married Robert Longely in California. He preceded her in death in 1969.

She was a Halstead resident until 1995 when she moved to Moundridge. She was retired from the Halstead Hospital Dietary Department. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.

Survivors: three brothers, Boyd Koehn and Elton Koehn, both of Halstead and Virgil Koehn, St. Helens, Oregon; two sisters, Geneva Bell, San Anselmo, California and Margaret Jantz, Chico, California.

Services were held on April 24 at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead. Burial w as in the Halstead Cemetery.
