Obituary

Alma Nadine Mulhern Wise, 70, mother of Johnny J. Dater of Sedgwick, died Sunday, September 9, 2001 at her home in Newton. She was born April 13, 1931 in Olathe, Kansas, the daughter of Ernest Richard and Hazel Maude McDaniel Jackson.

On April 28, 1978 whe married Robert F. Mulhern in Sedgwick. He died January 13, 1991. On May 5, 1995 she married Arthur H. Wise in Newtonl

She was a homemaker and enjoyed her friends and bowling. She was a member of the Newton Women's International Bowling Congress.

Survivors: her husband, Arthur Wise of the home; two other sons, Gean R. Brown, Paola, Kansas and Roger L. Brown, Spring Hill, Kansas; two daughters, Linda Miller, Wichita and Candy Mogel, Herrington, Kansas; two stepdaughters, Karen Larson, Olathe and Kathy Phippss, Moundridge; two sisters, Opal Applegate, Oldfield, Missouri and Thelma Burnett, Carson City, Nevada; 14 grandchildren; 3 stepgrandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Wednesday morning at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
