Obituary

James Earl Wright, 99, Goddard,, died Friday, August 3, 2001 at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas He was born August 27, 1901 at Kiowa, son of James Burden and Anna Faidley Wright. He was a retired farmer and attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Wichita.

On September 15, 1949, he married Esther M. Messner at Pratt. She preceded him in death on February 5, 1996 and is entombed in the Halstead Mausoleum.

Survivors: include a nephew, Richard Wright, Goddard; one grandchild and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Marshall; brothers, George Wright; Clarence Wright; John Wright and Rollie Wright; sisters, Margareta Etta and Clara Rodgers and two granddaughters.

Services were August 7 at Kaufman Funeral Home. The body will be entombed in the Halstead Mausoleum.
