Obituary

Gwendolyn Kay Dick, 57, Halstead, died July 21, 2002 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation. She was born November 20, 1944 at Hutchinson, daughter of Sherman and Yavonne Redgate Watkins. She was a longtime Burrton resident and worked as a certified nurse's aide at the Halstead Hospital for more than 22 years.

On October 25, 1963 she maried John Dick at Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors: two sons, Ronnie, Burrton; Jerry, Hutchinson; three brothers, Edward Watkins, Pretty Prairie; Mike Watkins and Robert Watkins, both of Hutchinson; three sisters, Judy Brazil, California; Shirley Chambers and Mary Jo Benson, both of Hutchinson; 3 grand-children.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Hendershot and Ruth McHaley and a granddaughter, Skyelar Dick.

Graveside services were held at Burrton Cemetery on July 25. Rev. Peter Hartman presided.
