Albert G. Hahn, 92, died May 29, 2002 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. He was born November 23, 1909 at Halstead, son of August G. and Caroline Baumgartner Hahn. He graduated from Halstead High School in 1927. A Hesston resident, formerly of Newton and Lyons, he was an auto mechanic and had worked at Stevens Spring Factory in Newton until retirement.

He belonged to the First United Methodist Church, Newton and was a former member of Lions Club.

On January 2, 1931, he married Mildred J. Pierce at Halstead. She died July 3, 1998. Survivors: daughter, Mary Joan Short, Newton; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jane Jones; one brother, Edwin Hahn; three sisters, Martha Stutzman, Helen Nachtigal and Elsie Hahn and granddaughter, Linda K. Amick.

Services were held June 1 at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton, conducted by Rev. Michael Keating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.
