Obituary

Aileen D. Luther, 85, Wichita, former Halstead resident, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002 in Wichita. She was born June 16, 1916 to John and Ethel H oward Safe in Halstead.

She married Eugene Luther. He preceded her in death. She grduated from Halstead High School and had lived in Wichit all of her adult life. She was a homemaker.

Survivors: Sister, Lorraine Stahlheber, Newton; four nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, John "Bud" Safe.

Services were held at Broadway Mortuary Wichita. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery. Memorials to American Diabetes Association.
