Palmer, Terry R.

Terry R. Palmmer, 39, Newton, grandson of Flora Dillman, Halstead, died December 31, 2001 at Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita. He was born January 1, 1963 in Newton, son of Jack Ray and Judith Ann Dillman Palmer.
He atended South Breeze Grade School, Newton and also Walton Grade School, Walton and Santa Fe Middle School, Newton. He was a 1982 graduate from Newton High School.
He was employed at Idaho Timber, Halstead; Concrete Vaults, Newton; Northern Pipelines; Santa Fe and Westar Energy/KG&E. He also worked part time for Benton's Nursery, North Newton, during the busy season. His hobbies included Nawscar racing and football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburg Steelers and Kansas State Wildcats. He also enjoyed Go-cart racing with his son and nephew and fishing for stripers at Texoma. He was always willing to help other people with anything and would do anything for family and friends.
Other survivors: his mother, Judith Palmer; son, Cody Lee Palmer; daughter, Cammi Rae Palmer; brother, Jeffrey G. Palmer; all of Newton and sister, Debbie A. Palmer, Wichita.
Services were held January 7 at Salem United Methodist Church, Newton with Pastor Lynn Sifrit presiding. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Newton.
