Obituary

Edith Marie Roberts, 94, Sedgwick, former Halstead resident died April 18, 2002 at Sedgwick Health Care Center, Sedgwick. She was born August 30, 1907 in Harvey County, daughter of Cornelius and Lou M. Melson Fein.

She attended college one year and was a retired bookkeeper for Sharp Mobile Homes, Newton. She was a former member of Eastern Star Chapter 407 and Rebekah Lodge, both of Halstead.


She married Thomas E. "Pat" Roberts. He preceded her in death.

Survivors: one son, Robert R. Halstead, stepdaughter, Roberta Miller, San Diego, California; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Graveside Services were held Wednesday April 24 at the Halstad Cemetery.
