Stamback, Ferrell W.

Ferrell W. Stamback, 78, Holyrood, formerly of the Sedgwick/Bentley community died Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Hutchinson Hospital. He was born February 17, 1924 at Halstad, son of Charles and Susie Kaiser Stamback.
He was a resident of Holyrood for the past 24 years, moving from Wichita. He was the owner of Stamback Construction and Welding and was a refrigeration technician for Excel Packing for 35 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving iin World War II.
On July 16, 1949 he married Phyllis Hendrickkson at Conway, Arkansas. She survives.
He was a member of the Evangelical Free Church, Ellsworth.
Other survivors: two daughters, Becky Dirks, Topeka and Marilyn Massey, Wichita; brother, Max Stamback, Wilcox Arizona; three sisters, Mary Mace Kruger and Clarice Dyer, both of ElDorado and Jane Milne, Sedgwick and 3 grandchildren.
Services were held April 22 at Ellsworth. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
