Obituary

John V. Walton, 38, died Friday, June 28, 2002 at his home in Halstead. He was born December 2, 1963 at Newton, the son of James G. and Gladys A. Keithly Walton. A lifelong resident of Halstead, he was a 1982 graduate of Newton High School. He was the owner and operator of NC Solutions, Halstead.

He married Linda Denise Jarrett March 8, 1997 at Las Vegas, Nevada. His hobbies included electronics, automobile restoration, and dune buggies.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Walton of the home; his parents, James and Gladys Walton, Halstead; two sisters, Rhona Walton, DeLand Florida and Kimberly Morrison, Fowler, Colorado; his grandmother, Nina A. Keithly, Halstead; a nephew Barry Morrison and a niece Melissa Morrison, both of Fowler.

Services were held July 3 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead conducted by the Rev. Dallas Curts, with burial following in the Halstead Cemetery.
