Westfall, Paula Sue

Harvey County Independent

Paula Sue Westfall, 52, Newton, daughteer-in-law of Eddy Westfall, Halstead, died Saturday, April 6, 2002 at Newton Medical Center. She was born July 22, 1949 at Wichita, the daughter of Virgil A. and Bertha C. F. Lambdin Graalman.

On November 11, 1974, she married George A. "Chip" Westfall at the First Baptist Church, McPherson. He survives of the home.

She graduated from McPherson High School in 1968, attended Hutchinson Community College, Adela Hale Business School and Wichita State University. She was a former bookkeeper for Seger Plumbing/Aqua Accessories and currently a Medical Records Clerk for Wichita Clinic-Bethel, Newton.

She was a member of East Side United Methodist Church and Twice Tenn Friendship Club, both of Newton and was the 2001 co-recipient of the Harvey County Extension Council Volunteer of the Year award. Her hobbie included collecting Teddy Bears, Hallmark Christmas Ornaments, making ceramics and other 4-H activities.

Other survivors include two sons, Jacob A. Westfall and Andrew G. Westfall, both of Newton; her mother, Bertha C.V. Graalman, McPherson; a brother Gary W., Rawlins, Wyoming; sister-in-law, Marcia Westfall, Kansas City, Kansas.

She was preceded in deth by her father, Virgil A. Graalman and father-in-law, Dr. George A. Westfall, Jr.

Services were held April 9 t East Side United Methodist Church with Rev. J. Ray Sweringen, Pastor of the church and Dr. Thomas Shane. burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
