Obituary

Arnold F. Wiggers, 84, Moundridge, former Halsted resident, died Sturday, January 26, 2002 at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge. He was born March 21, 1917 at Canton, son of Henry and Rachel Jantz Wigers.

On May 19, 1940 he married Viola Nightingale at Fredonia. She survives of the home. He was a retired farmer and a Minister and member of Gardenview Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church, Halstead, where he was also a member.

Survivors; two sons, Kenneth Wiggers, Greeley, Colorado and Wilbur Wiggers, Grifton, North Carolina; two daughters, Louise Ratzlaff, Durham and Jane Unruh, Honey Grove, Texas; two brothers, Allen Wiggers, Halstead and Glen Wiggers, Sedgwick; four sisters, Gertrude Wedel and Pricilla Seiler, both of Moundridge; Elma Jean Yost, Detroit, Texas and Clarabelle Dirks, Hesston; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Bertha Buller and Marjorie Smith.

Services wer held January 29 at Gardenview Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church. Burial was in Gardenview Church Cemetery, Halstead, Kansas.
