Obituary

Gladys O. Cadle, 94, Newton, wife of the late Lawrence Cadle, former Sedgwick resident, died July 29, 2023 at Kansas Christian Home in Newton. She was born March 31, 1909 on a small farm north of Augusta, the daughter of Albert and Grace Kirkman.

She lived in Newton and Leavenworth during her lifetime and her husband practiced denistry in Newton during the 40's and 50's.

She married James Lawrence Cadle in June of 1928 in Sedgwick. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Newton and NBA Kansas Christian Home Auxiliary, both of Newton.

Survivors: two sons, James Cadle, Lenexa and Galen Cadle, Burnsville, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

Services were held at the First Christian Church, Newton. Burial was in Hillsiden Cemetery, Sedgwick. Petersen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
