Lillian Fangman, 64, the mother of Tom Fangeman of Sedgwick, died April 19, 2003 at her home in Newton. She was born May 30, 1938 at Seneca, the daughter of Ben and Philommena Dick Olberding. On Decekber 29, 1956 she married Wilbert V. "Bill" Fangman at Baileyville. He survives.

She belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church,, the Altar Build and the Parish Life Commission, all of Newton.

Survivors: husband, of the home; son, Tom of Sedgwick; daughters, June Shockey, Topeka; Shirley Butler, Mary Miller and Jill Marshall, all of Newton and Sarah Taylor, Wichita; 6 grandchildren and a great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by both parents and a grandson.

Rosary and vigil were held Sunday at the Church. Funeral was Monday morning at the Church, conducted by Fathers Floyd McKinney and John Holtze with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Newton.
