Obituary

Mabel C. Jones, 94, former resident of Burrton, died October 23, 2003 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born November 3, 1908at Goltry, Oklahoma, daughter of John and Lena Becker Smith. A reident of Hutchinson, since 1956, moving from Burrton, she was a homemaker.

She married Lloyd T. Jones at Goltry. He died November 19, 1976.

Survivors: son, John D. Jones, Hutchinson; two daughters, Betty Kaegi, South Hutchinson and Patricia R. Schrag, Overland Park; brother, Lawrence Smith, Enid, Oklahoma; two sisters, Marie Unruh, Enid, Oklahoma and Genevieve Unruh, San Antonio, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Juanita J. House and Shirley Ann Jones; 3 brothers, Clyde Smith, Elmer Smith and Alvin Smith and a sister, Virginia Wuerflein.

Graveside Services were held at Burrton Cemetery.
