Obituary

Kennethh L. Lagree, 83, Wichita, Burrton native, died April 21, 2003 at Newton Presbyterian Manor. He was born February 17, 1920 near Burrton, the son of Thomas, Jr., and Mable Dickson Lagree. He married Agenes "Peg" Martens at Marion, Kansas on January 27, 1941. She survives.

He was a retired sales engineer for Gaso Pumps and Burner Manufacturing Company of Tulsa. He was a member of First Christian Church, Burrton.

Other survivors: Jay and Enid Lagree, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; Janet and David Wright, Farmington, New Mexico; Francene Lagree, Tampa, Florida; Susan and Jim Woods, Wichita and Kent and Cathey Lagree, Damascus, Arkansas; two sisters, Joy Zehr, Hutchinson and Glynis Westmacott, Littleton, Colorado; sister-in-law, Reva Lagree, Hutchinson; two brothers, Ronald Laagree, Burrton and Robert Lagree, ElDorado; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Max Lagree and two sisters, Ruth Lagree in infancy and Shirley Warnke.

Services were held April 24 at the First Christian Church in Burrton. Burial followed in the Burrton Cemetery.
