Obituary

Ricky Lee Lankton, 18, Halstead, died Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at Hutchinson as a result of injuries received from an automobile accident. He was born July 13, 1985 at Newton, the son of Richard Allen and Karen Lea Drake Lankton. They survive of Halstead.

He was a painter for Krause Plow, Hutchinson. He was a 2003 graduate of Newton High School, four year letterman of Newton High School, varsity soccer, team member of Club Azzuri, Soccer Club, Hutchinson and a team member of the Air Capital Sharks and Club Legacy soccer clubs, both of Wichita. He was also a team member of Allied Bonds Softball Club, Newton.

Other survivors include a sister, Kara Lankton of the home; grandparents, Lee and Shirley Drake, Newton and Roy and Helen Lankton, LeRoy.

Services were held September 19 at First United Methodist Church, Halstead. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
