Obituary

Paul E. Partridge, Sr,82, reaident of Halstead Health and Rehabilitation died November 30, 2003 at Newton Medical Center. He was born August 26, 1921 at Newton, the son of Sidney Lewis and Hazel Earnestine Ruick Partridge. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a private.

He married Evelyn McKim in 1972 in Wichita. She survives.

He enjoyed artistic painting, making clocks, antique auto restoration and being a mechanaic. He also loved animals.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, also a resident of Halstead Health and Rehabilitation; son, Paul E. Partridge, Jr., Peabody; four daughters, Glenda Greenwell, Newton; Kathryn Williams, Carrollton, Texas; Karen Husong, Kansas, Oklahoma; and Ruth Sprague, ElDorado; a brother, Joseph Partridge, Carrollton, Texas; three sisters, Mary Ann Reece, Texas; Bonnie Wance, Burns and Susan Higgins, Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was spreceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers, Jack Partridge; Bill Partridge; Henry Partridge; Russell Partridge; Don Partridge; Warren Partridge and Bruce Partridge; sister, Virginia Cook and granddaughter, Robin Williams.

Services were held December 2 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. Burial followed at Greenwowod Cemetery.
