Obituary

Walter Dennis Seiler, 93, lifetime resident of Halstead, died August 23, 2003 at Moundridge Manor. He was born February 1, 1910 in rural Halstead, the son of Emil and Lena Dirks Seiler. He was a retired farmer.

On July 24, 1932, he married Pricilla Wiggers at Halstead. He was a member of Garden View Church of God in Christ Mennonite, rural Halstead.

Survivors: wife, Pricilla of Moundridge, Manor; two sons, Donovan Seiler, Halstead and Ron Seiler, Haviland; two daughters, Mareda Wallace, Costa Mesa, California and Gloria Anne Mayeske, Newton; brother, Robert Seiler, Halstead; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He ws preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Koehn; sister, Caroline Unruh and great granddaughter, Tonya Rose Koehn.

The funeral was held August 26 at the Church,, rural Halstead. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
