Obituary

Bonnie Wynema Tennant, 73, formerly of Burrton, died June 16, 2003 at the Hutchinson Hospital. She was born September 26, 1929 in Hoffman, Oklahoma, daughter of Jennings Bryan and Flossie Lela McFarland Sessions.

She was a graduate of Burrton High School. She had been a resident of Hutchinson since 1977, formerly of Burrton. She worked as a secretary for Ewing Construction, Hutchinson, for 15 years. She was a member of the Tenth Avenue Methodist Church and the Modern Woodmen of America, serving as Secretary.

She married Ernest C. Tennant on August 14, 1948 in Burrton. He survives. Other survivors: one son, Jacob Brian Tennant, Hutchinson; three daughters, Patricia Diane Lillard, Linda Kay Bass, and Jane Ann Holzrichter, all of Hutchinson; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Omar Kenneth Sessions and Manzi Sessions.

Services were held June 18 at Johnson and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. Burial was in Burrton Kansas Cemetery.
