Percival Westmacott operated a large lumber and hardware business in Burrton prior to his death.
The funeral for Precival Westmacott was held at the Presbyterian church. The funerl party arrived on Santa Fe No. 568 from as far as St. Paul, Minnesota; New York and Spearville.
He was born at Blockley, England In 1853. He married Elizabeth Pugh at Hay, Wales. He moved to Canada and came to Burrton in 1885. He lived in Burrton for 20 years.
Nine children, three who died iin infancy and one age fourteen. Surviviing children: Gertrude, Henry, Elizaabeth Percival, Gary, Mrs. Phil 'Wilson and Stanley. He was a member of Masoons and Wichitga Consistory.
