Obituary

Elizaabeth Jane Richards, eldest daughter of Thomas and Eleanor Richards was born April 19, 1880 at Festiniog, County, North Wales. When about a year old, she moved with her parents to the South Wales coalfields where she attended the public schools and grew to womanmhood. In May 1910 she came to America and located in Burrton.

She was married to Dan Rowlands April 10, 1912 and they lived together on the Rowlands homestead one mile east of Burrton these last 22 years. She passed away on August 8, 1934 at the age of 52 years.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Dan; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services were held August 10 at the home with burial in the Burrton cemetery.
