Just at the hour of going to press, word comes to the Kansan of a wreck at Derby on the south branch in which L. L. West, son-in-law of James Dexter, was killed. The train involved in the wreck was No. 116, due to arrive here at 3:20 o'clock this afternoon. The wrecking crew was sent south at three o'clock to clear the track.
