Henry "Harry" Hoskinson, 82, retired farmer and stockman in the Burrton Mt. Hope area, died Friday evening at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Haven where he had lived for the last two years. He had been ill for sometime.

Harry was born September 20, 1886 at Burrton and had lived in this area all of his life. He married Maud Long at Burrton on November 16, 1910. She died in 1966. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove EUB Church, rural Burrton.

He is survived by sons, Richard W. of Wichita; Andrew P. of Tucson, Arizona; Norman E. of Seattle, Washington and Cecil L. of Haven; daughters, Mrs. Mildred Blubaugh of Wichita and Mrs. Alice Bridgman, Mr. Hope; brothers, Joe, Wash and Walter, all of Burrton; sister, Mrs. Lura Hembree, Hutchinson; 25 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Church. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
