Obituary

Andrew Stubby, 66, died unexpectedly Sunday at his home after suffering a heart attack. He was born November 14, 1901 at Lehigh. He married Helena Kliewer on November 18, 1923 at Lehigh. Andrew had been a resident of Burrton for 29 years, moving here from Canton. He was a Burrton city employee. He was a member of the Lehigh Mennonite Church.

Survivors: widow of the home; sons, Marvin R.; Chester L.; LaVerne; and Virgil L., all of Burrton, daughters, Mrs. Darlene Floyd, Wichita; and Mrs. Joan McElwain, Lyons; brothers, Victor, Brookville; Jacob, Lehigh and Otto, Burlington; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lowen, Hutchinson; Mrs. Helen Funk, Wichita; Mrs. Ida Buehler, McPherson and Mrs. Ella Losh, Topeka; 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services were conducted from the Burrton Mennonite Church with burial in Burrton Cemetery.
