Mary Kathryn Becker

Mrs. Mary Kathryn Becker,, 70, died Saturday, June 14 at Halstead Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born August 10, 1898 at Goltry, Oklahoma and was married to Amel J. Becker in 1917 at Enid. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Churh. She moved to Burrton in a covered wagon with two children in 1992.

Survivors include the widower; sons, Vernon, Hutchinson; Robert, Denver, Colorado; daughter, Mrs. Elmer Dellenbach, Partridge; brothers, Fred, Francis and Ralph Luginbill, all of Oklahoma; James Luginbill, Wichita; sisters, Mrs. George Ozbott and Mrs. Joe Kovach, both of Kansas City; Mrs. Lillie Brobst, Enid, Oklahoma; 7 grandchidren and 6 great grandchildren.

Services were conducted at Kaufman Funeral Chapel, Halstead on Tuesday morning. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
