Obituary

Rosa Doty, 70, passed away October 1, 1969 in Memorial Hospital, Beeville, Texas, after an illness of three months. She was born May 28, 1899 at Burrton. Rosa had been a patient in Halstead Hospital for a month before her niece, Mrs. Elmemr R. Jones, moved her to the Memorial Hospital in Beeville on August 18th so she would be near her.

Survivors: one brother, John Elder, Wichita; three nieces; Mmes. E. R. Jones, Beeville, Texas; J. A. Baugh, Pettus, Texas and Delia Lucas, Joshua, Texas; three nephews; John Elder Jr., Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Felix and J. D. Cox, both of Beeville. One sister, Ora Kimball, passed away two years ago.

Fumera; servoces were concucted October 5th from the Burrton Christian Church. Internment was in Burrton Cemetery.
