Bertha Elenor Gaw

Mrs. Bertha Gaw, 85, died Saturday morning, March 29, at the Lyons District Hospital after a long illness. Born September 26, 1883 at Paola, she was married to Roy Gaw, March 22, 1905 at Hutchinson. She had lived in Lyons since 1926, moving there from Burrton.

Mrs. Gawe was a member of the Lyons Christian Church, Pythian Sisters, Royal Neighbors and the Sunflower Club.

Survivors include the widower; daughter, Mrs. Joann Bailey, Lyons; son, Wilson, Lyons; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the Crawford-Miller Mortuary, Lyons April 1 with Rev. Orvan Gilstrap officiating. Graveside services were conducted at Burrton Cemetery the following day.
