Obituary

Kenneth S. Hill, 60,, died Sunday, September 6, 1970 morning at the Pratt County Hospital after a short illness. He was born February 27, 1920 in Burrton. He married Anna Jo Durlinger August 3, 1930 in Hutchinson. He was superintendent of schools in Pratt and had lived there ten years.

He was a member of the Pratt Rotary Club; BPOE; Kansas Association of School Administrators; American Association of Scholl Administrators; NEA; KSTA; Chamber of Commerce, Pratt, past president of both the Rotary and the Knife and Fork Club, Pratt; United Methodist Church and Phi Delta Kappa.

Survivors include the widow; daughters, Mrs. Leo Bird, Stockton; Mrs. Darvan Cook, Aviano, Italy; sisters, Mrs. Reymond Reed, Pratt; Mrs. James Watkins, Chico, California; Mrs. I. R. Mitchell, Wichita; brothers, Robert, Wichita; Charles, Burrton; four grandchildren.

Services were conducted from the First United Methodist Church on September 9. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
