Obituary

Banner S. Titus, 74, died Monday at Commerce, Texas, after an apparent heart attack while visiting in the home of his son and family. He was born May 23, 1896 in Enid, Oklahoma and married Eva May Flood in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She died in 1966.

Mr. Titus was a retired machinist and moved here in 1938. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors: son, Dr. Robert Titus, Commerce, Texas; daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ann Kaiser, Topeka; 5 grandchildren.

Services were held at the United Methodist Church with burial in the Burrton Cemetery.
