Obituary

Robert W. Easter, 18, son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert A. Easter, died Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

He suffered massive head and facial injuries Satuday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a panel truck at an uncontrolled Hutchinson intersection. Robert, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to South Hospital, but transferred to Wichita. It was believed he died without regaining consciousness.

He was born February 10. 1954 at Newton. He is survived by his parents, Mrs. & Mrs. Robert A. Easter, Burrton; brother, James, of the home; sisters, Mrs. John Riead, Burrton; Benjy, Jody and Lynelle, all of the home; grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. B. A. Easter, Liberal; great grandmother, Mrs. Grace Wilson, Hutchinson.

Services were held Tuesday at Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, Hutchinson. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
