Obituary

Mildred Lorene Day, 48, died Thursday, August 23, 1973 at Bethel Hopital in Newton. She was born January 11, 1925 at Burrton and was a lifetime resident here.

Survivors are the father, Giles E. Day; brother, George L. Day, Woodward, Oklahoma; sisters, Mrs. Lucille Adams, Lyons; Mrs. Lela Baylis, Lake Tahoe, California; Mrs. Lois Watkins, Tucson, Arizona.

Funeral services were h eld Monday, August 27 at First Christian Church with Rev. Jerry Griffin officiating. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
