Obituary

Raeburn M. Howard, 78, died Friday, September 14, at his farm east of Burrton. He was born June 14, 1895 at Burrton and married Jessie McElwain May 20, 1920 at Burrton.

He was a farmer and lived in Burrton all his life. His wife died June 16, 1966.He was a member of the Burrton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Marvin of Hutchinson; brother, Charles L. Burrton; sister, Inez Howard, Hutchinson and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held September 18 at the Burrton United Methodist Church with Rev. Victor Dellengaugh officiating. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
