Obituary

Jesse Parker, 87, died Monday, March 26, 1973 at Broadacres near Hutchinson, following a long illnes. He was born January 28, 1886 at Burrton. He married Mable Harmon on November 14, 1908. She died August 8, 1964.

Mr. Parker worked for the Wichita Eagle-Beacon circulation department, retiring 15 years ago. He lived most of his life in Hutchinson. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hutchinson.

Survivors: sons, Harmon J., Houston, Texas; Irvan L., Midway City, California; Melvin J., Hollywood, Florida; five grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday at Johnson and Sons Chapel in Hutchinson. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
