Obituary

Lulu E. Saylor, 93, died Wednesday, December 27, at Hutchinson South Hospital after a long illness. She was born March 17, 1883 at Lebanon, Missouri.

She came to western Kansas with her parents, Jesse E. and Frances McElwain in 1885 and to Burrton in 1898, where she spent her entire life.

She married Frank S. Saylor on December 29, 1907 at Burrton. He died March 19, 1952. She was a member of the Methodist Church; Friendship Circle; Rebeccahs and along with her husband, the Harvey County District Rural Mail Carriers Association. She had been a resident of the Mary-L Home for the past 10 years.

Services were held Saturday at the Burrton United Methodist Church with Rev. Victor Dellenbaugh officiating. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
