Obituary

Ida Mary Williams, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Harry Williams, passed away in Los Angeles California on October 2, 19173.

Ida was a native of Burrton and spent her youth and young adult life in the town of her birth. When the Burrton Public Library was established, Ida Williams was the first Librarian and continued in that capacity until her mother's terminal illness and death.

Later, she moved to California to be with a sister and continued to be a resident of tht state. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a Past Matron of that order.

Burial services were conducted October 9 at the First Christ Church in conjunction with the ritual service of the Order of Eastern Star. Interment was in the Burrton Cemetery.
