Obituary

Mrs. Flossie E. Hendrix, Hutchinson, died Friday, January 4 at South Hospital. She was born August 21, 1895 at Burrton and married Ray Hendrix June 17, 1954. He died November 2, 1968. She was a retired practical nurse.

Mrs. Hendrix was a member of the Peniel Nazarene Church.

Survivors are sons, Elmer Curless, Hutchinson; Rev. Vernon Curless, Houston, Texas; Alvin Hepler; daughters, Mrs. Fern LeShure, Hutchinson; Mrs. Viola Walker, Canon City, Colorado; Mrs. Louise Shipley, Port Angeles, Washington; Mrs. Thelma Vigneault, Hutchinson; sisters, Mrs. Clara Hamm, Stillwell, Oklhoma; Mrs. Levi Houck, Nickerson; 25 grandchildren and 78 great grandchildren.

Services were held January 8 at Volkland's Chapel in Hutdchinson with burial in Burrton Cemetery.
