Obituary

Mrs. Laura H. Parker, 95, former resident of Burrton, died Sunday, June 30, 1974 at Mercy Hospital in Independence.

She was born November 28, 1878 in Osage County, Kansas and was married to Joe B. Parker on September 18, 1901 at Burrton. He died December 26, 1940.

Mrs. Parker had lived at Glenwood Estates Nursing Home for the past three years. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Esther Warner, Independence and three grandchildren.

Services were held in Independence with graveside services and interment at the Burrton Cemetery, July 3.
