Obituary

Jennie E. Miller, daughter of James W. and Mary J. Miller was born June 12, 1894 in Garred County, Kentucky and died December 25, 1974 at Friendly Acres Home for the Aged, Newton, where she had been a resident more than three years.

She came to Kansas with her parents and sisters at the age of five months and had lived here all of her life. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church.

Survivors are sisters, Mrs. Dona Hensley, Burrton and Mrs. Pearl Hensley, Coldwater, two nieces; two nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Margaret Grandon. Her life was one of service to others.

Funeral services were held December 27 in the Burrton Christian Church. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
