Obituary

Services for Mrs. Margaret Parker, 87, a former Burton resident, were held Saturday at United Methodist Church, Burrton, with the Rev. Roy Nelson officiating. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery under the direction of Kaufman Funeeral Home, Halstead.

Mrs. Parker died March 11 at Westminister, California where she had lived since 1970.

She was born March 14, 1887 at Topeka and had lived in Burrton about 50 years, having moved here in 1920. Her husband, Brayton Parker, died September 9, 1955.

Survivors include three sons, Bill Parker, Cincinnati, Ohio; Fred Paarker, Huntington Beach, California and Wayne Parker, Corvallis, Oregon.

A graduate of the University of Kansas, she taught at Burrton High School for several years.
