Obituary

Frank Rife, 82, died Tuesday evening, June 24, at Hutchinson South Hospital after a short illness. He was born May 30,1893 at Lebanon, Indiana and married Olwen Davis on February 14, 1915. He lived in the Burrton community most of his life and was a retired farmer and stockman.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Robert, Burrton; three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Hill, Burrton; Mrs. Marjorie Smith, Wichita and Mrs. Nova Cannon, Vinita, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Greenfield, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Florence Colby, Sonora, California and Mrs. Dora McQuerry, Condordia, Missouri; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Services were held Friday June 27 at Elliott Chapel in Hutchinson with burial in Burrton Cemetery.
