Robert Elton Hill, former Burrton community resident, died Saturday, August 14, at Halstead Hospital. He was born March 3, 1903 in Lovan County, Kansas and married Twyla Payne on September 11, 1945 in Wichita.

He was a retired tool grinder and maker for Goeing Aircraft. He was a resident of Tucson, Arizona, moving from Burrton. He was a member of First Christian Church, Tucson.

Survivors include the widow; son, James, Wichita; daughters, Mrs. Roberta Hook, Tucson; Mrs. Cynthia Hefling, Wichita; brother, John L. Hill, Hutchinson; sister, Mrs. Mary DeLong, Oakley; four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 17, at the Burrton Christian Church with the Rev. Darryl Godinez conducting. Burial was at Burrton Cemetery.
