Richard Wayne Hoskinson

Richard Wayne Hoskinson, 65, was killed Friday in a boat-dock accident on the Texas coast near his home at Dickinson, Texas. He was born September 6, 1911 at Watonga, Oklahoma and was a retired employee of the Wichita Board of Education. He was a long-time resident of Burrton, moving from here to Wichita and then to Texas in 1973.

Survivors include a son, Arthur Wayne, Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Schneider, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Shirley Hoskinson, Wichita; brothers, Norman Eugene, Windsor Canada; Cecil, Haven; sisters, Mrs. Alice Bridgman, New Strawn; Mrs. Mildred Blubaugh, Wichita; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 13 at Wulf Mortuary, Mt. HJope, with the Rev. Marvin Valdois conducting. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
