McElwain, James E.

James (Tom) McElwain, 80,, rural Burrton, died Wednesday, October 27, 1976 at Hutchinson Hospital following a long illness. He was a retired farmer, a lifelong resident of Burrton, a veteran of World War I, a member of the Burrton Christian Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include brothers, R. J. and Woodrow, both of rural Burrton and sisters, Miss Mildred McElwain, rural Burrton and Mrs. Hazel Holliday, Wichita.
Funeral services were Friday, October 29 at the church with the Rev. Darryl Godinez conducting. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
