H. A. (Phon) Trinkle, 78, died Monday at Hutchinson Hospital after a long illness. He was born November 30, 1897 in Sullivan, Indiana. He moved to Burrton in 1933. He was a retired tool dresser for the oil fields and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include the wife, Dora; sons., Robert Kelley, Burrton and Marty Cain, Hayward, Wisconsin; daughters, Mrs. Maxine Zehr, Wichita; Mrs. Mildred Barclay, Jacksonville, Florida; Mrs. Helen Holzrichter; Mrs. Ann Brimicombe, both of Burrton; brother, Garland, Eureka; 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 1, in the Burrton Christian Church with Rev. Darrell Godinez ane Re v. Roy Nelson conducting the service. Interment was in Burrton Cemetery.
