Mertie E. Short, 93, lifetime resident of Burrton died Monday, August 20, 1978 at the Hutchinson, Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at the Burrton United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. Roy Nelson will officiate and burial will be in the Burrton Cemetery.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. There are no known survivors.
Friends may call at the Elliott Chapel in Hutchinson, today and Wednesday.
