Obituary

Juanita Elberson, 93, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at Newton Medical Center. She was born on August 12, 1918 in Sedgwick to Benjamin and Luella (Hart) Watkins.

She married Tom Elberson and he preceded her in death on September 14, 1983. She enjoyed birds and bird watching and also enjoyed caring for animals.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandre Krehbiel of Wichita and Beverly Cooper of Newton; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and one great-great -grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, March 14 at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, with Chaplain Jay Anderson presiding.
